Terms of Service
Last updated: June 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of OutlookDog, an Outlook add-in operated by Speraj LLC ("OutlookDog", "we", "us"). By installing or using OutlookDog, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What OutlookDog is
OutlookDog reads the email you have open and provides an AI-generated summary, a safety assessment, and optional draft replies. You can use our managed AI lane (signed in with your Microsoft account) or bring your own AI provider key. How data flows in each lane is described in our Privacy Policy.
Important: OutlookDog advises — it does not protect
OutlookDog's safety and phishing assessments are guidance only. OutlookDog is not a security product, spam filter, or antivirus, and it does not guarantee that any message is safe or unsafe. It only warns — it never deletes, quarantines, or moves your mail. You are responsible for your own judgment about which messages to trust, which links to click, and what information to share.
AI output may be wrong
AI-generated summaries, assessments, and drafts can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Always review them before relying on or sending anything. You are solely responsible for any message you choose to send. OutlookDog never sends mail for you.
Accounts & eligibility
The managed lane requires signing in with a Microsoft account, and you must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live). You're responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- Don't use OutlookDog to break the law, infringe others' rights, or process content you have no right to.
- Don't try to circumvent usage limits, abuse the free tier, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Don't use it to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
Plans, billing & cancellation
- Free: a limited number of managed AI actions per day, reset daily.
- Pro: unlimited managed AI (fair use) — $9/month or $90/year.
- Bring your own key: $5/month or $50/year, with a free trial; you also pay your own provider directly for their usage.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can manage or cancel anytime via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices may change with notice.
Bring-your-own-key responsibilities
If you use your own provider key, you are responsible for keeping it valid, for all charges your provider bills you, and for complying with that provider's terms. We are not responsible for your provider's availability, output, pricing, or data handling.
Intellectual property
OutlookDog, its name, mascot, and software are owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the add-in under these terms. As between you and us, you keep all rights to your own email content and to the drafts you choose to send.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
OutlookDog is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI output or safety assessments. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using OutlookDog and remove the add-in at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to comply with law.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and flag material changes. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
